False Shuffle was created by John Kurlak in Fall 2011. It was created in a week and aims to become the primary source of quality card tricks on the web. To ensure quality, all tricks posted to the website have been reviewed and tested in real-world scenarios. The site was re-designed on November 24, 2013.
John Kurlak has been doing magic since 2000. His main focus is in card magic, but he also does some coin magic and close-up magic. He used to run a magic website, CleverMagic, where he sold video tutorials for tricks and sleights. He once was an active member of Cheater's Cheater and UltimateMagic. A web developer by trade, he aims to create an amazing resource for both aspiring and veteran magicians alike.
